Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides daily oversight for the day to day operation of the Satellite office.  Assigns cases and provides supervision, collects statistical information, submits data for reporting, completes staff performance reviews, provides informational presentations to community groups on the service offerings at the Satellite office, attends meetings , increases networking opportunities, provide oversight for the Satellite office’s Advisory Committee and acts as a back up to advocate providing direct services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Speaks and writes Spanish fluently
  2. Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  3. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  5. Discretion and Integrity to work on highly confidential investigations
  6. Ability to both interact and be comfortable with a diverse population

  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Reaches out to potential stakeholders
  2. Referrals to appropriate services and maintains ongoing collaboration with other professionals
  3. Attends meetings both within and out of the office
  4. Participates and attends community events and special projects
  5. Maintains case files and statistical data
  6. Prepares and submits reports for funders
  7. Prepares PowerPoint presentations
  8. Perform all other duties as assigned.  

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master degree is required and  some supervisory experience, a minimum of two (2) years working with victims/survivors, a law firm, governmental agency, civic or community organization
  2. A valid driver’s license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience is required and must be maintained for the duration of employment
  3. Ability to take initiative to implement systems to ensure that work is done both accurately and efficiently
  4. Comfortable working in a fast paced non-structured environment
  5. Willing to work evening and/or weekends as needed
