JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Bureau of the Bronx County District Attorney's Office coordinates the hiring of all support staff for the Office via on-campus recruitment, advertisement in various external locations and via civil service. The Human Resources Recruitment Specialist will aid in the implementation of all facets of recruitment as well as other HR incentives.

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Exceptional computer skills including familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro

Exceptional organizational skills, team work vision and ability to prioritize workloads
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Review with Administrative Supervisor and or Bureau Chiefs all job vacancy notices to ensure accuracy before job notices are posted externally.

Organize materials for first and second round panel interviews utilizing Applicant Stack Recruitment system.

Coordinate with executives panel interviews insuring that all information such as location, computers and interviewees information is available on the interview date.

Provide panelists with questions, protocols and procedures. Maintain statistical information on panel interviews.

Attend community, college and department of labor job fairs. Provide comprehensive summary detailing the outcome of such fairs.

Assist with on-boarding processing of incoming support staff members and incoming Assistant District Attorney Classes.

Aid in preparation of weekly recruitment reports providing hiring statistics needed for surveys and reporting materials to senior staff, when necessary.

All other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years working experience in a Human Resources, law firm, governmental agency, civic or community organization.

Minimum of three (3) years recruitment experience preferred.

Strong computer skills including proficiency in use of Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office and Outlook

Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.

Skills in database management and record keeping.
