JOB SUMMARY:

The Bronx District Attorney’s Office is seeking a well-qualified staff whose diverse backgrounds reflect an ability to serve the 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community and pursue a safer Bronx through fair justice. The Bronx County District Attorney’s Office has an opening for a Data Content Supervisor, who will oversee and perform time sensitive case tracking functions. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise the activities of Case Trackers, and Data Content Analyst, and serves as custodian of the Data Catalogues, Standard Operating Procedures, and SLAs
  • Oversee IT level 1 Operations Support and complex data quality analysis including the preparation and delivery of reports on overall plans, activities, and performance metrics and collaborate across bureaus to develop strategies to correct deficiencies or problems.
  • Responsible for maintaining effective and stable operations of large-scale platforms including Case Management, associated telecommunications systems, and complex data integrations by monitoring system and data quality.
  • Manage and track service contracts related to all platforms including data, system support and make recommendations on suitable technology based on user needs, availability, and budgetary considerations.  
  • Coach and monitor team performance; perform evaluations and responsible for developing quarterly management reports.
  • Supervise the activities of Case Trackers, and Data Content Analyst, and serves as custodian of the Data Catalogues, Standard Operating Procedures, and SLAs
  • Administer closure and resolution of escalated issues by coordinating with cross agency Teams as applicable and assuring quality of the work delivered.
  • Perform all other related duties and projects as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associates degree and a minimum of three (3) years working experience in a law firm, governmental agency, civic or community organization.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  •  Excellent customer service skills, the ability to organize information in a concise manner and strong attention to details.
  • Preferred minimum of two years’ experience working with BXDA case tracking application as well as working in a paperless environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff effectively and professionally.
  • Prefer knowledge of the criminal justice system and criminal justice databases
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
