JOB SUMMARY:
Serve as a Case Aide in the Notification Unit performing administrative duties in support of the bureau.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strong ability to multi-task various assignments at one time
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to organize information in a concise manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist on the overall daily function of Witness Notification Unit
- Assist with phone inquiries from complaints, commands and other agencies
- Notify Police Officers (PO) for court appearance via Court Appearance Control System
- Notify necessary witnesses for next day Adjournment
- Notify Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs) of and solve any potential issue
- Confirm daily notifications for court appearance
- Liaison with NYPD and ADAs for cancelling PO notification
- Input Appearance history for criminal court cases
- Input civilian witness information from all court parts
- All other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
A High School diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with general court services and functions preferred
